Learning...
I attempt to incorporate various forms of education to ensure your child receives a well rounded learning experience while in my care
As I have much said, learning is a crucial part of my care. No matter what age your child ise, he or she can learn. May it be just learning to crawl, walk, color, write, read or just learn how to interact with others, your child is always ready to learn something new!
I am a strong believer in mental stimulation. I want them to explore and experience something fun and new while they are here in my care. I have always taught preschool to my children but have finally found a program that not only helps me come up with new ideas but also provides a wide variety of daily activity ideas to support children’s learning in every area of development.
My program provides: Skills and concepts reinforced in early literacy, dramatic play, math, science, circle time, music, movement, social skills, and more. The curriculum I use stimulates thinking, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving.
Learn: Children learn by doing! They are interested in hands-on materials and should be offered opportunities to make meaningful choices.
Grow: Growing does not only mean physical... emotional and mental growth are crucial as well!
Cultivate: The activities are very flexible! Every individual need of the children in my group are acknowledged and encouraged.
Each month, you will receive a calendar explaining what the topic will be for each week.
Example: in February, week 1 & 2 we learned about Bears & Letter M. In week 3 & 4 we learned about Patterns & Letter R.
* All children are encouraged to be apart of our activities; however, no child is pushed either. I feel it is important (since they are so young) for them to make that decision each day.
