Tender Loving Care for Li'l Ones

Quality In-Home from the littlest to the biggest

Hello there! This is a little note to tell you a little about myself...

My name is Autumn. I am a Mother of 3 children. My oldest is in the 6th grade and my two little ones 6 and 3.

Why did I become a childcare provider?...

When my oldest son was a baby I put him a provider's home where unfortunately he had experienced neglect. It took me a few more experiences to finally find a provider that I felt I could trust. I felt blessed to finally find someone who actually cared for my son the way she cared for her own children. I wished other families could feel the same way I felt about our provider. I wanted other families to know that there truly are providers who could love their child(ren) the way they did their own. After I had my daughter I had the opportunity to stay home.  It was at that time that I realized that what I wanted other families to feel was what I could provide them; To have the trust and security level with me that I had with our previous childcare provider.

At that momment in time I felt like a light had shined above my head!! LOL. I wanted to teach...I wanted to share...I wanted to love all that I possibly could~ to the little ones; So, I went out and took all the classes needed to qualify as a childcare provider in the State of Oregon. Some of the classes include CPR trained, First Aid trained and Food Handlers permit and knowledge. I take classes through out the year to make sure my knowledge and skills are always up to date for the kiddies in my care.

My spouse and I are enrolled in the Criminal History Registry through the state of Oregon.

I am a Registered Childcare Provider through the State of Oregon.

*I have a good source of referrals & would be happy to provide them when an interview is arranged.

I have been providing care for over 3 years now and have been enjoying every minute of it! You may think that 2 years is not very much experience as a provider but I believe I have a lot of experience alone with my own children- over 9 years of enjoyment and pain. LOL!! No, really I believe that being a mother of 3, of which all have completely different personalities, has given me more than just 2 years experience with children! I have taken a few college courses on child development but I  gain more knowledge and experience by getting together with other providers. As a member of PRO~ Providers Resource Org. (Please review the PRO section on my website for more information), I joined so I could become a "team" with other providers. Many other members with PRO have been doing childcare for more than 10 years. We help each other get new and old ideas to gain better experience and knowledge in this profession. PRO also helps other providers find families that "fit" in their group settings. PRO also provides on going classes to help providers increase their knowledge and also helps other families find care that suite their family needs. http://www.mytenderlovingcare.com/aboutpro.htm

My goal as a child care provider is not to "fill" my space but to offer a Small Group Setting that will help your child to grow and flourish with happiness and help increase their knowledge at their age level.

My home is not only Safe and Healthy but also provides children with the Fun, Education and Love that every child needs!

Your Child's safe Haven for care!!

Values are also an important part of who you choose as your child's childcare provider...http://www.mytenderlovingcare.com/values.htm
