Tender Loving Care for Li'l Ones

Quality In-Home from the littlest to the biggest

Red, Yellow, Blue...There's so much we can do!

We love to have fun!

Weekly activities include:

  • Daily read alouds
  • Literary Activities~ Include self-help concepts, decision-making skills, ABC's, 123's, colors, shapes just to name a few
  • Scavenger Hunts
  • Artistic touch with paints, crayons, markers, clay and a variety of different hands on craft projects
  • Free play time~ Encourages healthy social interaction and emotional connections
  • Music time~ Sing alongs, dancing, hand signs, jumping and/or just soaking in the fun

~These lessons are geared to your child's developmental level & vary weekly depending on schedule interruptions and voluntary involvement.

Everyday we have different learning activities. Here are some examples:

  • Summer time means having fun planting a garden~ Encourages all 5 senses!!! and who doesn't like to play in the dirt anyway?
  • Play time in our own back yard or we take a trip to the local school and parks~ Just walking distance from our own Playground!
  • Social interaction with other children in our area
  • Hot out? Sprinkler time!!! (Or it's cool inside...)
  • Walks and rides
  • Parachute game
  • Different sporting activities
  • Copycat
  • Other fun active games that involve the whole group: such as- Duck, duck goose, Ring around the rosie & more!

~ All these activities (of course) are determined if weather permits... otherwise we play indoors.

Field Trips:

During the colder months of the year we will take a few field trips. A couple examples are in the months of October we will take a visit to a local farm to pick out a pumpkin, go on a hay ride or go through a hay maze to help celebrate Halloween. Around Easter we will visit a local park and go on an Easter Egg Hunt, socializing with other children. Of course all field trips are approved through the Parent/Guardian before any traveling is arranged.

Our favorite trip is to the Gresham Library. There we spend some time reading together quietly and/or spending some quality time on the library's computer, playing educational games and/or programs.
